Kazuki Taira

Kazuki Taira has held several roles in the past few years. In 2019, they were a Junior Data Scientist at Salto Network where they worked on modeling a topic-based matching algorithm of SNS for startup founders and built a model with scikit-learn library to predict startup fundraising. In 2020, they were a Startup Report & Deal Sourcing at Mistletoe, Inc., where they made a monthly report of interesting startups mainly in the Nordic region and led the investment process including DD of the startup. Also in 2020, they were a Marketing Specialist at LIFT99, where they automated the operation of the coworking space and community building by using Airtable, Zapier, and Squarespace. In 2021, they returned to Salto Network as a Junior Frontend Developer, where they worked on a React-based web application and eventually switched their focus to kood/Jõhvi program under the Education section.

Kazuki Taira attended UC Santa Barbara from 2016 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics. Kazuki is currently attending kood/Jõhvi from 2021 to 2023, studying Software Development.
