Avinash Sooriyarachchi

Avinash Sooriyarachchi is a seasoned professional in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently serving as a Senior Solutions Architect at Mistral AI since July 2024. Previously, Avinash held key roles at Databricks, including Solutions Architect Lead for Mosaic AI, where responsibilities included leading customer-facing AI support and engagements, as well as driving Generative AI initiatives for retail and consumer packaged goods organizations. Prior to Databricks, Avinash was a Senior Solutions Architect at SAS, specializing in machine learning across multiple industries, and also founded RandomWalk Technologies LLC, developing a machine learning SaaS platform. Avinash's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University.
