Fatima Pouryousefi Dargah

Fatima Pouryousefi Dargah, PhD/CCS has a diverse work experience in business development and research engineering. Fatima is currently serving as the Director of Business Development at Mitacs since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Hatch from November 2019 to May 2021 as a Business Development professional, focusing on carbon capture and sequestration for brownfield and greenfield facilities. At Hatch, they assessed technologies, performed analysis, and wrote proposals to help clients reduce their carbon footprint.

Before joining Hatch, Fatima worked at the University of Regina from September 2014 to March 2016 as a Project Coordinator and Research Engineer at the CETRI Centre. Fatima coordinated research activities and conducted studies on clean energy technologies, specifically Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) technology. Fatima also worked as a Teaching Assistant and coordinated training for co-op students during this time.

Fatima's earlier experience includes working as a Graduate Research Engineer at the International Test Center for CO2 Capture (ITC), University of Regina from September 2007 to May 2009, and as a Research Engineer at SRC in a student summer position in July-August 2008.
