Anthony Fortuna

Anthony Fortuna is a seasoned sports medicine professional currently serving as the Director of Sports Medicine and Adjunct Professor at Mitchell College since August 2024. Previously, Anthony held positions as an Orthopedic Technologist/Athletic Trainer at Orthopedic Partners and as an Orthopedic Cast Technician at Orthopedic Associates of Hartford. With a strong background as an Athletic Trainer at Hartford HealthCare Rehabilitation Network and Select Medical, Anthony provided medical coverage for various athletic events and developed rehabilitation exercises for injured athletes. Further experience includes serving as the Head Athletic Trainer at Chase Collegiate School and as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Saint Joseph, where responsibilities involved instructing courses related to exercise physiology and athletic injury management. Anthony earned a Master of Science in Health and Physical Education/Fitness and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training/Trainer from Central Connecticut State University.
