Melissa Childers

Melissa Childers has a strong background in various roles related to administration, human resources, and education. Melissa started their career in 1993 with Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, where they worked in human resources until 2008. Melissa then transitioned to Alexander Central High School, where they worked as a teacher from 2008 to 2013. Melissa then returned to Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams in 2013 as a Retail Human Resources Manager and later became the Director of Retail Human Resources until 2019. Currently, they are serving as an Office Administrator at New Life Church.

Melissa Childers attended Lenoir-Rhyne University from 2008 to 2009, where they pursued NC Teach as their field of study. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Social Sciences from Gardner-Webb University, which they attended from 1989 to 1993. In the years 1986 to 1988, Melissa studied Religion/Religious Studies at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
