Lajim Shaikh BCom CAIIB has extensive work experience in the corporate banking and consultancy sectors. From 1983 to 2012, they worked at Bank of India, where they held a role in corporate banking for nearly three decades. In 2012, they joined HDFC Bank as a faculty member, providing training to new recruit managers. In 2013, Lajim transitioned to MITCON Consultancy and Engineering Services Ltd as an Executive Vice President. In 2017, they briefly worked at Resurgent India Limited in the same role.
Lajim Shaikh pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with their enrollment at Gauridutta Mittal College Sion from 1980 to 1983. During this time, they focused on studying Business Administration and Management, General. Following their completion of this program, they attended M.L. Dahanukar College of Commerce from 1982 to 1983, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Lajim then proceeded to study at the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance from 1984 to 1989, specializing in Banking and Corporate Finance with a CAIIB degree.
