SVP, Chief Operating Officer at Together Credit Union

Tom Kraus, CCE, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Tom started their career in print and outdoor advertising, where they worked as a Manager from 1996 to 1998. Tom then joined Bud Light as an Account Manager from 1998 to 2001, developing and managing retail-driven and promotional programs for key national accounts.

In 2001, Tom joined National Retail Sales as a Manager, where they continued to develop and manage retail-driven and promotional programs for key national accounts. Tom collaborated with account senior management, buying teams, and sales directors to focus resources on improving sales performance.

Tom joined Anheuser-Busch in 2003, where they held various roles. Tom started as a Manager of Sales Promotion, developing and managing retail-driven and promotional programs for the National Retail Sales Group. Tom then became a Group Manager of Consumer Marketing, overseeing the licensing, consumer direct, and retail divisions for all branded merchandise. Tom was responsible for the business strategy, financial performance, and personnel of a $25 million business.

In 2007, Tom joined Rolling Rock and LandShark as a Brand Manager. Tom led the development of brand strategies, marketing initiatives, and integration of all brand programs. Tom also oversaw brand creative development and messaging for various channels.

Tom rejoined Anheuser-Busch in 2010 as a Senior Brand Manager for Bud Light Mega Brand. In this role, they coordinated and executed key brand programs, developed annual brand marketing plans, and managed creative development and agency relationships.

In 2013, Tom became the Director of Budweiser Brand Marketing, where they led the US Marketing Unit for the most valuable Global Alcohol Brand. Tom developed successful strategic plans, including the most successful Super Bowl campaign in company history. Tom also managed the development and implementation of Budweiser Made in America Music.

Tom's next role was as a Group Director of Heritage Marketing at Anheuser-Busch InBev from 2015 to 2016. Tom was selected to lead four iconic Corporate Business divisions and successfully revamped the Biergarten business model, leading to positive EBITA and improved cost control systems.

In 2017, Tom joined Anheuser-Busch Employees' Credit Union and Divisions as the SVP/Chief Marketing Officer. Tom held this role until 2018 when they joined Together Credit Union as the SVP, Chief Operating Officer, where they currently serve.

Tom also served as a Development Board Member for St. Louis Children's Hospital from 2018 to 2020.

Tom Kraus, CCE has a Bachelor of Arts & Science degree in Marketing & Management from the University of Missouri, which they completed from 1991 to 1995. Tom also attended Saint John Vianney High School from 1986 to 1990. Additionally, Tom participated in several executive education programs. In 2011, they completed an Advanced Marketing program at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. In 2018, they attended the CUES CEO Institute - Strategic Planning at The Wharton School. In 2019, Tom completed the CUES CEO Institute - Organizational Effectiveness at Cornell University.
