Garrett Smith

Garrett Smith is an experienced project manager currently at Pye-Barker Fire & Safety since July 2023, with a background in fire protection and safety roles, including lead fire alarm technician at FPS Fire Protection Specialist from February to July 2023. Prior experience includes working as a conveyor belt technician at All-State Belting, LLC and as a fire alarm technician at FPS Fire Protection Specialist, LP. Garrett has demonstrated strong team leadership skills, responsible for mentoring and coaching teams on job sites, and has extensive experience in the installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire protection systems. Additionally, Garrett served in the United States Marine Corps as a CBRN Marine, where responsibilities included conducting reconnaissance, decontamination operations, and maintaining HAZMAT equipment. Education was obtained at Kansas Wesleyan University.
