Konstantin Simonychik

Konstantin Simonychik serves as the Chief Scientific Officer at Mitek Systems since February 2025, focusing on AI-driven digital identity solutions utilizing advanced AI technologies for secure authentication. Simonychik co-founded ID R&D Inc. in November 2016, also holding the position of Chief Scientific Officer, where the emphasis is on leveraging machine learning and computer vision for seamless digital identity solutions. Previous roles include Associate Professor at The National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics, where digital signal processing was taught, and leadership positions at Speech Technology Center overseeing speaker verification projects. An early career at Motorola involved software engineering for embedded systems and speaker verification. Konstantin holds a PhD in Mathematics and Computer Science and a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics and Informatics from Saint Petersburg State Electrotechnical University "LETI."
