Stefan Leurs

Stefan Leurs has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Stefan currently holds the position of Head of CMC Development at Mithra since September 2021. Prior to this, they spent a significant portion of their career at Johnson & Johnson. From 2014 to 2021, they served as the Senior Director of Global Technical Services. Stefan also held various roles at the company, including Head Technical Integration Drug Product Development, Global CMC Team Leader, Department Head API Development, CMC Team Leader Early Development, and Head of Chemical Process Research. Before joining Johnson & Johnson, they worked as a Project Leader in API Development from 1995 to 1997.

Stefan Leurs completed their PhD in Chemistry with a specialization in organic synthesis from the University of Leuven between 1988 and 1992.
