Gal Segev

Gal Segev has worked in the technology industry since 2011. From 2011 to 2019, they worked for Unit 8200 - Israeli Intelligence Corps, where they held the roles of Head of Cyber Security R&D Department, Research Team Lead, and Researcher. In their role as Head of Cyber Security R&D Department, they commanded 35 top tier researchers and engineers in an ever-changing environment. In their role as Researcher, they researched communication systems and had practical experience with RF, digital communications, networks architectures and system engineering. In 2019, they began working for Mitiga as Senior Director Of Engineering and Head Of Research And Development.

Gal Segev obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology between 2006 and 2009. Gal then went on to earn a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same institution between 2009 and 2011. In 2013, they completed a Master's degree in International Relations and National Security Studies at Tel Aviv University, which they finished in 2016.
