Cory Mattas

Cory Mattas is an experienced environmental specialist with a diverse background in ecology and wildlife management. Currently employed as an Environmental Specialist II at Mitigation Resources of North America since November 2022, Cory previously worked as a Field Biologist at Environment & Archaeology, LLC and held multiple roles at Resource Environmental Solutions LLC, including Ecologist I and Operations Coordinator. Early career highlights include serving as a Natural Resource Specialist with the US Army Corps of Engineers, where responsibilities encompassed habitat maintenance and wildlife management on a large federal project. Cory's experience also includes working as a Shop Assistant/Wildlife Technician at Bat Conservation and Management, gaining skills in wildlife surveys and consultation. Cory holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Juniata College, earned in 2013.
