Matthias Van Dorpe serves as General Counsel at Mitiska REIM since June 2017, having previously been an independent and external legal counsel at Uplace from October 2012 to June 2017. Matthias has extensive experience in the legal field, having worked as an attorney at Loyens & Loeff (July 2006 - September 2012) and NautaDutilh (September 2003 - July 2006), in addition to an international associate role at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP from September 2008 to August 2009. Academic qualifications include a Master in Corporate Law from Katholieke Universiteit Brussel (2005-2007), a Master in Law from KU Leuven (2000-2003), and a Bachelor in Law from Université de Namur (1998-2000), as well as coursework at Duke University School of Law in 2002.
