Dan Adams has been working in the biotechnology industry for over 40 years. Dan began their career in 1977 as the Co-Founder and CEO of Biogen. In 1980, they founded Advanced Genetic Sciences and served as the President and CEO. In 1982, they founded Plant Genetic Systems and served as the Managing Director. In 1996, they joined Protein Sciences Corporation as the Executive Chairman and Global Head of Business Development, and later became the President and CEO. In 2018, they co-founded NextWaveBio and served as the Executive Chairman. In 2019, they joined Moterum Technologies Inc. as a Director. In 2020, they joined EpiVax Therapeutics, Inc. as the Chairman and Acting CEO, and also served as the Chairman of the Board of EpiVax Oncology, Inc. In 2021, they joined MITOCHEM THERAPEUTICS, LLC as the Director.
Dan Adams attended Cornell University from 1958 to 1962, where they earned a BA in Chemistry and Physics. Dan then attended New York University School of Law from 1962 to 1965, studying International Law.
