Rick Cousins

Rick Cousins is an experienced professional in the field of drug discovery and medicinal chemistry, currently serving as VP of Drug Discovery at MitoRx Therapeutics. Previously, Rick Cousins held roles as a drug discovery consultant at Akros Pharmaceuticals and PepLib, and also contributed to the industry as a consultant at Cinnabar Consulting Ltd, where focus areas included medicinal chemistry and discovery program leadership. Additionally, Rick Cousins has academic involvement as a visiting professor at University College London (UCL). Rick Cousins earned a PhD in Chemistry from Queen Mary University of London between 1984 and 1987, following earlier education at Reigate Grammar School from 1976 to 1981.
