Mikhail Maksimov

Mikhail Maksimov has an extensive work experience in various scientific and research roles. Mikhail is currently working as a Staff Engineer at Mitra Chem since March 2022. Prior to this, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California San Diego from May 2019 to March 2022.

Before joining UC San Diego, Mikhail worked at Illumina where they held multiple positions. Mikhail started as an Engineer 2 - Process Development in November 2014 and progressed to become a Scientist II - Systems Integration from September 2017 to May 2019. Mikhail also served as a Scientist 1 - Systems Integration from November 2016 to September 2017 and as a Sr. Engineer - Process Development from December 2015 to November 2016.

Mikhail's educational journey includes being a Graduate Student at Princeton University from September 2009 to November 2014. Before that, they worked as an NSF Summer Research Fellow at IBM in June 2008 and as a Summer Research Fellow at Vanderbilt University Summer Research Program in June 2007.

Mikhail started their research career as a Research Intern at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 2005.
