Senaka Fernando

Senaka Fernando has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Senaka currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer - Cloud Integration at Mitra Innovation and as a Board Advisor at HearAngel AI, IFINITY Global, experienz, and Virtuan Pte Ltd. Previously, they founded Bars and Lines Limited, a data consulting company, where they served as the Managing Director. Senaka also held various roles at Imperial College London, including Data Visualization Consultant and Data Observatory Systems Architect. Senaka has also been actively involved with the Apache Software Foundation, serving as a Member, Committer, and PMC Member. Senaka worked at WSO2 as the Head of Digital Transformation and Senior Director, Head of Product Marketing, as well as Director Solutions Architecture and Senior Technical Lead and Product Manager for WSO2 Governance Registry. Senaka'sexpertise lies in digital transformation, engineering leadership, and open-source software.

Senaka Fernando completed a BSc. in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Moratuwa from 2005 to 2009. Senaka then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computing (Data Science) at Imperial College London from 2015 to 2020.
