Carole A. Mahoney

Carole A. Mahoney serves as the Director of MITRE Labs Sector Operations at MITRE, with a career spanning over three decades in various roles focused on software engineering, data architecture, and technical leadership. Since joining MITRE in 1987, Carole has ascended through positions such as Co-Technical Director of the Software Engineering Innovation Center and Department Head for Agile and Adaptive Software Engineering. Responsibilities have included strategic planning, staff development, and enhancing organizational partnerships to expand technical capabilities. Prior to MITRE, Carole held significant roles at CELT Corporation, Avercom Corporation, and Consent Cache, Inc. Carole holds a Master of Science in Systems Engineering and Software Engineering from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Technical Communications from Clarkson University.
