Vijay Prasad

Vijay Prasad is an Artificial Intelligence & Autonomous Systems Engineer at MITRE, part of the National Security Accelerator Program since January 2023. Prior to this role, Vijay served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Purdue University's Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering from August 2020 to December 2022, contributing to courses in Feedback Systems Analysis and Design, as well as Electrical Engineering Senior Design. Vijay has gained valuable experience as a Systems Engineering Post-Graduate Intern at Raytheon Missiles & Defense and as an Undergraduate Researcher in Machine Learning at Georgia Institute of Technology. Additional internships include a role as a Software Engineering Intern at Boeing and various leadership and research positions during undergraduate studies at Georgia Tech, complemented by a study abroad experience across 12 countries. Vijay holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering with High Honors from Georgia Institute of Technology.
