Ben Niemoeller

Ben Niemoeller is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in power electronics and system engineering. Currently serving as a Senior System Engineer at Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. since January 2023, Ben previously held key roles at GE Renewable Energy from February 2015 to October 2022, including Lead Power Electronics System Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed the development of wind power converter hardware and battery energy storage systems. Ben's earlier experience includes working as a Power Electronics Engineer at GE Power Conversion, focusing on electrical system development for wind turbine generators, and as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where research centered on innovative power converter design. A Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering, respectively, were earned from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
