Bishwas Baral

Bishwas Baral is currently a Power System Engineer at Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc., since October 2023. Prior to this role, Bishwas worked at Entergy as a Transmission Planning Engineer from March 2019 to October 2023, where responsibilities included utilizing power system software for transmission systems analysis and ensuring compliance with NERC TPL stability analysis and CIP-14 regulations. Bishwas also served as a Distribution Planning Engineer, focusing on network planning for over 290,000 customers. Earlier experiences include a Graduate Research Assistant role at the University of New Orleans, conducting research on Static Var Compensators, and teaching assistant positions in electric circuits and engineering labs. Bishwas holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Orleans and a Bachelor of Engineering from Tribhuvan University.
