Mathirush Pillai

Mathirush Pillai is a System Studies Engineer I at Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. since February 2023, specializing in generator interconnection studies for Transmission and Distribution systems using PSS/E. Prior experience includes a role as Summer Engineer I at MPR Associates, Inc., where conceptual designs for grid-connected solar and battery storage facilities were developed, and multiple positions at Virginia Tech as a Graduate Teaching and Research Assistant, focusing on circuits, devices, and optimal reconfiguration of multi-phase radial distribution networks.
