Avishai Weiss is a Research Scientist at MERL since September 2013, with previous experience as a Research Assistant at the Air Force Research Laboratory from 2011 to 2012 and as an Embedded Systems Engineering Intern at Blue Origin in July 2008. At Blue Origin, responsibilities included porting a real-time operating system for proprietary hardware used in space-launch vehicles and writing drivers for various systems. Avishai Weiss holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Michigan (2009-2013), a Master of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Stanford University (2008-2009), and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Stanford University (2004-2008).
