Radu Corcodel

Radu Corcodel is a Research Scientist at MERL since August 2017, focusing on software development and algorithms for CAD modelers with expertise in Computational Geometry. Prior to this role, Radu served as a PhD Student at the University of Connecticut from January 2011 to July 2017, specializing in Computational Design. Radu's earlier experience includes working as a Mechanical Architect at Continental from March 2008 to December 2010, where responsibilities involved engineering electronic devices for the automotive sector and collaborating with an engineering design team. Radu holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computational Design from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the Technical University of Cluj Napoca.
