Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Oceania (“MSI Oceania”) is a branch of Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company, Limited and a member of the MS&AD Insurance Group Head Office in Tokyo, Japan. The MS&AD Group is one of the top general insurance groups in the world, having 38,584 employees across 48 countries and regions world-wide as of 31 March 2023. We are the only general insurance group with a presence in all ASEAN countries as of 31 March 2022. In the Oceania region, we have offices in Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland. We are providing commercial insurance solutions mainly for Japanese related clients, both domestic and international, through multiple distribution channels and retail travel insurance through a business partner. With a history that can be traced back to 1966 in Australia and 1970 in New Zealand, we are growing steadily with our clients and have remarkably recovered in respect of travel insurance after COVID 19. Our annual premium income is over 100 million and we are pursuing stable growth.
