Kosuke Makino

Kosuke Makino is a Business Development Director at Mitsui & Co., Ltd., specializing in hydrogen, renewable natural gas (RNG), carbon credits, and new energies since August 2019. Previously, Kosuke served as a Senior Analyst and Commercial Manager, focusing on business development in hydrogen, RNG, and carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS) technologies. Prior to this, Kosuke was a secondee in the Strategy & Corporate Development Division at ADNOC Group from July 2017 to August 2018, and held the position of Business Development Associate in the Middle East Natural Gas Business Division at Mitsui & Co., Ltd. from April 2015 to August 2018. Kosuke began an academic career as a Master's student at the University of Tokyo, concentrating on ocean technology and ocean current turbines from April 2013 to March 2015.
