Kent Hu

Kent Hu has a diverse work experience. Kent has worked for UpHealth, Inc. since 2021 as a Customer Support Representative and Medical Interpreter. Kent also worked for NEWTON CANTONESE SCHOOL INC as a Cantonese Instructor from 2019 to 2021. Additionally, they worked for VERNACULAR LANGUAGE SERVICES as a Freelance Interpreter from 2019 to 2021. From 2015 to 2019, Kent Hu worked for MixerBox Inc. as a Marketing Research Assistant. Kent also worked for Kung Fu Tea as a Barista from 2019 to 2021. Kent Hu has also worked for Cloudbreak Health as a Medical Interpreter from 2020 to 2021. Since 2013, they have been a Teaching Assistant for Bryant University's StarTalk Chinese language program. Kent also worked as a Chinese Tutor for McDaniel College from 2013 to 2021, and as a SASS Tutor and Music Librarian for McDaniel College from 2011 to 2013.

Kent Hu completed their High School Diploma at East Providence Senior High School in 2011. Kent then attended McDaniel College and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Asian Studies/Civilization in 2015. Kent went on to pursue a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Chinese Language and Literature at National Taiwan Normal University, which they completed in 2019. Additionally, Kent Hu has obtained several certifications, including The Community Interpreter International Training (TCI) from Martti in 2020, Core Certification Healthcare Interpreter (CCHI) from the Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters (CCHI) in 2022, and \u6f22\u8a9e\u6c34\u5e73\u8003\u8a66 \uff0d \u56db\u7d1a from the Confucius Institute in 2014.
