Pete Armstrong has a diverse work experience, starting as a Mechanical Engineer at QinetiQ from August 2009 to July 2011, where they worked on developing a series hybrid transmission and became a Technical Lead. Pete then joined the University of Oxford as a PhD Student from September 2011 to May 2016, where they researched thermal energy storage technologies for power systems. During their time at Oxford, they also served as the Technical Manager of Team Peggie, leading the technical development of their entry into the 2013 Shell Eco Marathon. Currently, they hold the position of CEO at Mixergy Ltd since June 2014.
Pete Armstrong pursued their education from 2004 to 2009 at The University of Edinburgh, majoring in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. Pete completed their MENG degree during this time.
