Artur Alves

Artur Alves has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles in different companies. Artur started their career at Fordesi in 2000, where they worked as a Business Consultant and later as a Senior Consultant. In 2005, they became the Head of the Consulting Business Unit at Fordesi.

In 2011, Artur joined Marlo a.s as a Co-Owner and eventually served as the Managing Director. During their time at Marlo a.s, they successfully managed the company's operations in Portugal, transforming it into a prominent tech company in the logistics and multimodal transport sector. In recognition of their innovations, Marlo a.s won the European Commission's 2016 Innovation Radar Prize in the Category of ICT for Society.

Most recently, Artur co-founded MIXMOVE in 2017, where they held the position of COO. Later, they became the VP of Customer Success. Artur'ssignificant contributions to the company played a crucial role in its success.

Throughout their career, Artur Alves has demonstrated their expertise in consulting, operations management, and business leadership across various industries.

Artur Alves completed their Licenciatura in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico in the years 1993 to 1998. Artur pursued further education and obtained an MSc in Engineering and Technology Management from the same institution, studying from 1999 to 2000. In addition, they briefly attended The University of Texas at Austin in 1999 for a course on the Commercialization of Science and Technology, although it is unclear if they obtained a degree from there.
