Maria Carmo has over 20 years of work experience across various industries. Maria began their career as a Supply Chain Analyst at Volkswagen Autoeuropa in 1999 before moving on to roles as a Functional Consultant in Technology and Organization at FORDESI, S.A. from 2000 to 2004, and as a Senior Business Consultant from 2004 to 2008.
In 2008, Maria joined Turismo de Portugal as a Hospitality and Tourism School Director. During their tenure, they were responsible for strategic planning and developing comprehensive training programs for professionals in the hospitality and tourism sector.
Since 2019, Maria has been working at MIXMOVE as a Customer Success Manager. In this role, they have been the primary point of contact for a diverse portfolio of clients and has consistently delivered exceptional results by leveraging their expertise in customer success strategies. Maria has recently transitioned to the role of Sales Development Manager, where they have played a pivotal role in implementing streamlined sales development processes.

Maria Carmo has a diverse education background. Maria completed a postgraduate program in Business Administration and Management, General from the Nova School of Business and Economics from 2015 to 2016. In 2009, they attended EHL and obtained the qualification of a Qualified Learning Facilitator. Prior to that, they earned a Degree in Economics from the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics between 1993 and 1999. Additionally, Maria obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in March 2023.
