Joe Thomas

Joe Thomas, CFA, has extensive experience in leveraged finance and asset management at Mizuho since January 2014, where contributions include growth of Stratum Investments to seven funds with €2BN AUM and execution of multiple high-profile transactions. Thomas has successfully developed a new marketing strategy, managed comprehensive deal processes, and generated significant revenue through innovative European export finance initiatives. In previous roles at Mizuho, Thomas oversaw a portfolio of over $1BN in Export Credit Loans, founded the Future Leaders Network, and directed regulatory frameworks in response to new regulations across European markets. Earlier professional experience includes a position as a Junior Analyst at Rockspring Property Investment Managers and an internship with Squawker Ltd. Thomas holds a Master of Economics degree from the University of Southampton.
