Josh Weismer

Josh Weismer has extensive experience in the field of equity capital markets. Josh began their career as an Associate at Furman Selz in 1998 before moving on to become a Principal at Thomas Weisel Partners in 2000. Josh then joined Banc of America Securities LLC in 2006 as a Principal before transitioning to Macquarie Capital (USA) Inc. in 2008 as a Senior Vice President. In 2013, Weismer joined Scotiabank as the Managing Director and Head of U.S. Equity Capital Markets. Most recently, they have taken on the role of Managing Director and Head of U.S. Equity Capital Markets at Mizuho since December 2018.

Josh Weismer completed their education by obtaining an MBA in Finance from Yale School of Management from 1996 to 1998. Before that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University between 1990 and 1994. Josh completed their high school education at Manheim Township High School from 1986 to 1990, though no degree or field of study is specified.
