Michael Comisarow is a Managing Director at Mizuho, responsible for building the power, utilities, and infrastructure investment banking business in Canada since 2021. Previously, Michael served as Managing Director and Head of Canadian Infrastructure Investment Banking at Credit Suisse from 2013 to 2020. Michael also held the position of Managing Director at Marckenz Group Capital Partners and worked at Credit Suisse Securities (Canada) Inc. as Vice President of Investment Banking and at Praslin Capital Partners as Principal. Early in Michael’s career, roles included Associate in Mergers & Acquisitions and Analyst in Corporate Finance at Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets. Michael holds an MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, an MSc in Management with a focus on Finance from Queen's University, and a Bachelor of Arts and Humanities in Political Studies and Economics from Queen's University. Michael is also an alumnus of The Crescent School.
