Ryo Hasegawa

RYO HASEGAWA is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainable business and industry analysis, currently serving as Vice President at Mizuho since August 2015. In this role, RYO is responsible for developing new business initiatives in hydrogen and facilitating collaboration between clients and global startups in the decarbonization sector. Previously, RYO held the position of Senior Associate Manager, focusing on the automotive, machinery, and raw materials industries while analyzing green trends in Europe. As a Project Manager, RYO led research and business development efforts in healthcare services and local economies in Japan and smart cities in India. Earlier in RYO's career, RYO worked as a researcher at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and as an associate at Mizuho. RYO holds a degree in Economics and Management from The University of Tokyo.
