Elena Kharebova is a seasoned Principal Software Engineer with extensive experience in the medical device sector, particularly in laser vision correction. At Mizuho OSI since October 2018, Elena has contributed technical expertise in software development. Previously at Johnson & Johnson Vision / Abbott Medical Optics from November 2009 to June 2018, Elena led the design and architecture of software for medical devices, including treatment planning and patient data management. Prior roles include Principal Software Engineer at Advanced Medical Optics / VISX, where Elena spearheaded significant software projects and improved treatment processes. Elena began the career as a Software Engineer at TFI (QxQ), focusing on instrument control software for product validation. Elena holds a Master’s degree in Math and Computer Science from Saint Petersburg State University.
