George Jage has a diverse work experience with a focus on media and event production. In 1993, they co-founded the Off-Price Specialist Show and Off-Price Magazine, which they later sold to Tarsus Plc. George then launched the World Tea Media in 2002, creating the first-ever tea tradeshow in the US and building related media assets. In 2012, they joined F&W Media, Inc. as the Director of The Beverage Group before moving to Marijuana Business Daily in 2014 as its President. There, they led the company's exponential growth, rebranded its asset portfolio, and developed the MjBizCon event, establishing it as the dominant business media company and event producer in the legal cannabis market. George then joined DOPE Magazine in 2017 as CEO, reorganizing and recapitalizing the company before negotiating its asset sale to High Times Holding Corp. In 2019, they became the President/COO of MjLink.com Cannabis Business Social Network and later that year, they founded Jage Media, Inc., where they currently serve as the CEO.
George Jage attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh from 1989 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology. Additionally, from 1994 to 1996, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations at Marquette University.
