Mariia Chulanova

Mariia Chulanova has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Mariia started their career as an Executive Administrative Assistant at Fulton Fitness & Downtown Health Club in 2012. Following that, they worked as a Guest Services Associate at Inniskillin Wines Inc. in 2013. In 2014, Mariia worked as a Part-time Wine Merchant at Wine Rack before joining The Grand Hotel & Suites as a Guest Services Agent, where they handled guest registrations, reservations, and general concierge duties. Mariia later became a Front Desk Shift Supervisor, responsible for coaching and developing front desk staff, maximizing revenue per available room (RevPAR), and ensuring staff knowledge of hotel facilities and promotions. Mariia also worked as a Financial Analyst at The Grand Hotel & Suites, liaising with different departments to ensure proper revenue balancing and system backup. In 2016, they joined Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel as an Income Auditor, where they compiled daily revenue reports and audited front desk postings. In 2018, Mariia became the Market Assistant Director of Finance & Accounting at Delta Bessborough and Delta Saskatoon Downtown. Their responsibilities included financial management and accounting. Mariia currently works as a General Accountant at MJardin Group since 2020.

Mariia Chulanova began their education in 2006 at the International Russian Boarding School in Malta, where they completed their high school studies. In 2008, they enrolled at Valdosta State University and pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Pre-Engineering until 2011. Following this, they attended Niagara College from 2011 to 2014, obtaining another Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Administration/Management. In 2014, Mariia Chulanova furthered their education at George Brown College and completed a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Administration/Management in 2015. Presently, they are enrolled in preparatory courses at CPA Ontario as a CPA student.
