Jenny Jo

Jenny Jo is the president and co-founder of MJJT Consultants. Ms. Jo is a Software Engineer, a Cyber Security Auditor, and an IT Project Manager.

Ms. Jo is also a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). She has expertise in information security governance, program development and management, incident management and risk management.

Ms. Jo earned her Master's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Information Security from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) in 2008.

Ms. Jo holds multiple technical certifications from Barracuda Network, VMware, Cisco, and 3CX. She is a member of ISACA (An independent, nonprofit, global association that engages in the development, adoption and use of globally accepted, industry-leading knowledge and practices for information systems), NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology), PMI (Project Management Institute), and InfraGard (A partnership between the FBI and the private sector).

Ms. Jo started her career as a high school teacher after getting her Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and History from Capital Normal University in Beijing. She later became a TV news reporter and producer for BTV, the second-largest TV station in China. In her 20s, she successfully established a TV production company working alongside the government and enterprises.

After Ms. Jo immigrated to the US in 1996, she switched careers to computer software engineering and accounting management, earning a diploma from the Chubb Institute. In 2000, she founded her own software development company, Cambridge Software. In 2008, she received her Master's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Information Security from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, enhancing her knowledge and skillset in the computer science and IT industries.

Since then, Ms. Jo and Mr. Takacs endeavored in numerous successful ventures with MJJT Consultants. Ms. Jo has been developing and managing information security programs, which include: policy, stands, procedure, compliance, risk management, and incident management and response. She also manages information systems, software development life cycles, and SAP upgrades. In addition, Ms. Jo provides IT security advisory services that help organizations reduce risk, minimize costs, and improve IT system efficiency.

Today, Ms. Jo is respected as an exceptional leader due to her integrity and ability to further elevate the quality, productivity, and reliability of MJJT’s professional team. She has accumulated over 20 years of experience as an IT professional who is committed to maintaining cutting-edge technical skills, staying at the forefront of the industry, and cultivating her knowledge of high-technology.

Her operational and management experience, multicultural background, and comprehensive technological expertise give her a sharp eye for how bloated businesses can retool to become sleeker and more strategically focused. As an entrepreneur who quickly built her own successful computer consulting business, she helps other business owners utilize technology to maximize revenues and minimize costs.
