Anna Carolina MacCarone

Anna Carolina Maccarone has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Anna Carolina started their career as an Intern at the Câmara de Comércio e Industria Brasil-Alemanha in 2000. Anna Carolina then worked as an International Marketing Coordinator at Promaker International Marketing from 2003 to 2007. In 2008, they joined Grupo TV1 as an Account Executive and Project Manager. From 2009 to 2016, they held the position of Head of Operations in Strategy Design and Executive Manager at ABEDESIGN, where they were responsible for strategy design, design management, and supporting design agencies in Brazil and internationally. During this time, they also served as the lead project manager for the internationalization program "Brasil Design." In 2016, Anna joined MJV Technology & Innovation as the Business & Innovation Senior Manager, eventually becoming the Business & Innovation Director for Healthcare/LS, Chemicals, FMCG, Agro & Financial Industries in 2019. In this role, they focused on driving business transformation through technology and providing end-to-end solutions for global clients. Anna Carolina also fostered an innovation culture and built a high-performance team. In 2018, they briefly served as a Startup Mentor at Eretz.bio - Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein and in 2020 as a Collaborator Mentor for Innovation Culture at Saibalá.

Anna Carolina Maccarone's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Advertising with a major in Marketing from the Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, obtained between 1999 and 2003. Anna Carolina also completed a one-year MBA program in Business Management at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas in 2010 and 2011. In addition, Anna Carolina has attended various short-term courses and programs, including Design Thinking/Innovation at EINA Centre Universitari de Disseny i Art de Barcelona in 2013, Innovation and Business Model Generation at ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing in 2016, and Applied Innovation/Inovação Aplicada at Hyper Island in 2020. Anna Carolina also pursued a special student program in Change Management at Universidade Federal de São Carlos - UFSCar Oficial in 2023, and obtained additional certifications in various fields such as health technology, Scrum Foundation, happiness research, and English proficiency (TOEFL). Anna Carolina also attended Aula Magna Graduação Design at ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing in 2016 and 2019.
