Mike Watson

Mike Watson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and project management. Since September 2017, Mike has served as a Senior Project Manager at MKEC Engineering, Inc. Prior to this role, Mike accumulated nearly two decades at Westar Energy, where positions included Director of Operational Technologies, Director of Asset Strategy, Manager of Electric Distribution Engineering, and Electric Distribution Engineer. Mike's career began at Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation, holding roles such as Electrical Systems Engineer and Electrical Design Engineer from March 1989 to May 1999. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from Oklahoma State University and has furthered education at Pilot Institute.
