John Lesley Morton has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

In 2013, they began their career as a Marketing and Events Assistant/Intern at the Center Point Chamber of Commerce. John Lesley collaborated on creating commercials and assisted with coordinating major city events.

From 2014 to 2016, John worked as a Solution Specialist at Verizon Wireless. John Lesley excelled as a top-performing salesperson, planned and executed a successful 90-Day Public Relations Campaign, and served as a Subject Matter Expert for multiple products.

In 2015, John took on the role of Social Media Coordinator at Funkadelic Studios. John Lesley collaborated with a team of six to create engaging social media content and managed various platforms using Hootsuite.

From 2017 to 2021, John worked at First Corinthian Baptist Church, starting as a Communications and Media Manager and later becoming the Creative Director. In these roles, they led full-scale creative projects, supervised social media accounts, created video commercials and graphics, and directed production teams.

In 2022, John worked as an Intern at the BLAC Internship Program, where they developed brand and product-level concepts for a leading national brand.

John Lesley also had experiences at MKG - Experiential Marketing, where they served as a Creative Strategy Intern and a Creative Associate, and at The Light, where they were a Digital Content Director, providing creative direction and managing social media channels.

Throughout their career, John has demonstrated skills in brand strategy, content creation, social media management, video editing, and graphic design.

John Lesley Morton attended Jacksonville State University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication.
