Cathy Planchart, CDMP, has a diverse work experience across various industries. Cathy'smost recent role was as a Senior Project Manager at MKP Communications Inc., where they focused on expanding and strengthening client-customer relationships by delivering quality communication projects. Prior to this, Cathy worked as an Account Executive and Marketing Strategist at Sundin Marketing, collaborating with clients to identify business needs and formulate effective marketing strategies.

Cathy also has extensive experience at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, where they held several positions. As VP, Product & Segment Marketing Manager, they focused on commercial banking and public relations, executing strategically focused and integrated marketing campaigns. In their role as VP, Corporate Communications and Community Relations, Cathy served on the integration team for a regional bank acquisition and established a new bank brand. Cathy also held the position of AVP, Corporate Communications & Community Relations, expanding their role with the acquisition of three branches in southern Maine.

Before their time at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, Cathy served as Interim Treasurer at Hancock County, Maine, where they were responsible for the county's finances. Cathy also worked at Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County as the Director of Community Relations and Development, promoting the organization in the community and increasing fundraising efforts.

Earlier in their career, Cathy worked at SeniorsPlus as a Community Relations Manager, supervising program coordinators and establishing links between the agency and the communities served.

Throughout their career, Cathy has demonstrated strong project management skills, client relationship management, marketing strategy formulation, and community engagement.

Cathy Planchart, CDMP, began their education at Barry University from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. In 1987, they also participated in a summer semester abroad program at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, studying International Business. In 2000 and 2001, they attended the ABA Bank Marketing School, although the field of study was not specified. Recently, in 2021 and 2022, they enrolled in the Digital Marketing Institute to become a Certified Digital Marketing Professional.
