Bob Hallock

Bob Hallock has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Bob started their career at Corning Incorporated as a Sr. Thin Films Engineer from 1996 to 1998. Bob then worked at JDS Uniphase as a Product Development Manager until 2004. After that, they joined QED Technologies as an Applications Engineering Manager until 2009. From 2008 to 2012, they also worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Monroe Community College in Optics Technology.

In 2009, Bob joined AT Films/PPC -- IDEX Corporation and held the positions of Director of Coatings from 2009 to 2012, and later became the VP of Operations/Director of Coatings from 2012 to 2014. Bob then moved on to Precision Optics Corporation as the Director of Engineering from 2014 to 2017.

Currently, Bob is working at MKS Instruments, where they have held various roles since 2017. Bob started as an Engineering Manager from 2017 to 2018, then became a Senior Manager, Engineering from 2018 to 2019, and currently serves as the Director of Engineering since April 2019.

Bob Hallock has a Master of Science (MS) degree in EE/EO from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
