Susumu Kitadai is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership and management across various industries, particularly within multinational corporations. Currently serving as Vice President and Country General Manager for Japan at MKS Instruments since July 2023, Susumu concurrently holds multiple directorial roles within MKS Japan, Inc., Spectra-Physics KK, Ophir Japan Ltd, ESI Japan KK, and Atotech Japan KK. Prior to this, Susumu held significant positions including Managing Director of MKS PSD Japan since June 2018, and Director/Board Member at Saint-Gobain K.K. Performance Plastics. With a strong background in corporate communications and supply chain solutions from time spent at Sony, including roles as Deputy General Manager and President of Sony Supply Chain Solutions Americas, Susumu's expertise encompasses sales, marketing, and strategy development. Educational credentials include an MBA in Finance and Marketing from The Wharton School and a BA in Social Science with a focus on International Law from International Christian University.
