Jumman Hossain

Jumman Hossain currently serves as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland Baltimore County since August 2024 and has been a Moderator for the RL and Robotics Group at ML Collective since October 2021. Previous experience includes a Summer Internship at Stormfish Scientific Corporation in August 2024, and serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland Baltimore County from August 2021 to May 2024. From October 2018 to August 2021, Jumman worked as a Senior Software Engineer at BJIT Group, where a notable project included the design and implementation of a large-scale tourist spot finding application. Prior roles include Software Engineer positions at IPvision Canada Inc. and Eyeball Networks, where contributions made to distributed cloud storage systems and the development of the uGrow Smart Baby Monitor for Philips were significant. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computer and Information Sciences, a Master's degree in the same field from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, and a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology.
