Joeri Ruyssinck

Joeri Ruyssinck has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Joeri started their career as an Administrative Support at KBC Bank & Verzekering in 2006. In 2008, they worked as a Programming intern at ON Semiconductor. Joeri then worked as a Helpdesk Technician at AZ Sint-Lucas Gent in 2009 and 2010.

Joeri's academic career began in 2011 when they joined Ghent University as a PhD Researcher. During this time, they also worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow, where they collaborated with PhD students and supervised their research projects. Joeri was also involved in teaching various courses related to machine learning at Ghent University.

In 2016, Joeri joined imec as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer. Joeri led European and national funded research projects and provided consulting services in machine learning to other companies.

Most recently, they founded ML2Grow in 2018 and currently serves as the CEO. ML2Grow specializes in advanced machine learning and employs a customer-centric approach to advance AI adoption in various industries.

Joeri Ruyssinck completed their PhD in Computer Science Engineering, specializing in Machine Learning, at Ghent University in 2017. Prior to this, they obtained their Master's degree in Civil Engineering, with a focus on Computer Science, also from Ghent University in 2011.
