Derek Komban

Derek Komban is a Senior Pricing Analyst in the Retail Pricing Team at MLC Life Insurance since September 2023. Prior experience includes work as an Actuarial Analyst at SCOR from September 2021 to September 2023, and positions as a Mathematics Tutor, Actuarial Vacationer at EY, and Finance and Accounting Intern at Doltone House. Derek Komban also served as a Summer Intern Consultant at Kedma Solar, focusing on improving business processes, and worked as a Receptionist at Tax Today Australia. In addition, involvement in the UNSW Microfinance Consulting Group and UNSW Hero Program provided opportunities to develop consulting and innovative service improvement skills. Derek Komban holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Actuarial Studies from UNSW and is currently engaged in professional development with the Actuaries Institute.
