Joe Sammut P.e.

Joe Sammut, P.E., possesses extensive experience in engineering and project management across various companies in the construction and mining sectors. Currently serving as a Project Manager at MLJ Contracting Corp since May 2021, Joe previously held positions as a Project Engineer and Superintendent at Tutor Perini Corporation, overseeing engineering staff and field labor for significant projects. Prior roles include Senior Field Engineer/Superintendent at Frontier-Kemper Constructors, managing a $22M change order, and Senior Project Engineer at John Holland, involved in large-scale infrastructure projects. Joe's early career includes mechanical engineering roles at Sino Gold Mining, Anglo American, and Parker Hannifin, where responsibilities ranged from project management of multidiscipline efforts to estimating for infrastructure works. Joe obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from CQUniversity between 2001 and 2005.
