Dr. Venci Cheshmedzhiev

Dr. Venci Cheshmedzhiev, MD, MBA has extensive work experience in various roles related to business development and account management in the medical and life sciences industry. Dr. Venci currently serves as the Director of Business Development at MLM Medical Labs. Prior to this, they worked as a Client Partner at Navitas Life Sciences from 2019 to 2021. From 2016 to 2019, they were self-employed and worked as a Life Sciences Business Development and Account Management Professional. Before that, they held the position of Business Development Director DACH at Premier Research from 2014 to 2015. Dr. Venci also served as the Area Director CEE at Merz Pharma from 2011 to 2014 and as the Director of Business Development CEE at QuintilesIMS from 2008 to 2010. Dr. Cheshmedzhiev has also worked in marketing and leadership roles at Actavis (now Allergan), Roche, and Merck. Dr. Venci began their career as the Chief of Emergency Department from 1993 to 1998.

Dr. Venci Cheshmedzhiev has a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the Medical University Plovdiv, obtained from 1987 to 1993. Dr. Venci also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Economics from the University of National and World Economy (UNWE), earned from 2003 to 2006. In 2018, they completed a Post Graduate program in Project Management at Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz.
