Project Lead at MMI

Nicola Pineschi has a diverse work experience in the field of mechanical engineering. Nicola started their career at Acta Srl as an intern, where they developed a CFD software tool for simulating the process of melting glass. Nicola gained skills in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, teamwork, and data processing during this internship.

After completing their internship, Nicola joined Altran Italia S.p.A. as a Consultant Engineer in the Aerospace, Space, and Defense industry. In this role, they were responsible for system engineering, system architecture design, and the design of mechanical components, structures, and electronics housings. Nicola worked closely with multi-disciplinary design and engineering groups.

In 2018, Nicola joined Medical Microinstruments, Inc. as a Sr. Mechanical Engineer. Nicola was involved in defining system and sub-system requirements and managing system and sub-system design according to Design Development SOP. Nicola also managed system and sub-system architecture on PDM and PLM platforms.

Recently, Nicola has taken on the role of Lead Mechanical Engineer at Medical Microinstruments, Inc. In this position, they are responsible for functional management of a group of mechanical engineers. Nicola continues to define requirements and manage design phases according to SOP.

Overall, Nicola Pineschi's work experience highlights their expertise in mechanical engineering, system architecture design, and project management. Nicola has a strong track record of delivering results in both the aerospace industry and the medical device industry.

Nicola Pineschi completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from Università di Pisa, which they earned between 2007 and 2011. Prior to that, they attended Liceo Scientifico from 2002 to 2007, where they completed their Scientific Lyceum. Nicola then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from Università di Pisa between 2011 and 2013.
